I was hiking along Kanto’s western coast in hopes of spotting some rare, water-type Pokemon. These coastal shores are alive with an abundance of creatures that often get swept up from warmer waters thanks to the strong current system in the area.

I decided to climb down and skirt along the rocky shore, but I had to be very careful as the cliffs here were known to be treacherous and many hikers had lost their lives over the years.

As I reached the bottom I could truly see the power of the waves as they crashed into the rocks. However, it wasn’t the swell I was interested in, but the rocky pools that had been left behind as the tide receded.

I made my way over the large boulders, being careful where to put my feet, one misstep and I could slip and hurt myself. It was then that I heard a strange noise. Climbing over the next rock, I saw what it was.

A large Starmie was slowly making its way from one pool to another.

Known as ‘The Gem of the Sea’, these giant starfish are aptly nicknamed due to is large, core gem in the center of their body.

A few years ago I had the pleasure of witnessing a truly glorious sight when given the opportunity to deep dive off the coast of Seafoam Island. When in deep water and undisturbed, Starmie’s Gem will pulse with Bioluminescent light, shifting between a variety of colors. They called it ‘Tritons Prism’, an extremely rare display that has only been viewed by a handful of people.

I grabbed my camera and began to get a few shots as it crawled across the rocks. As I took some last-minute photos, I watched it slowly submerge and eventually disappear into the deep rock pool ahead.

Coatorcha is evolving into… Coacinder!

A new Pokemon for the Equas Region!
Based on a Coatimundi and Capoeira, Brazilian Fight Dancing.

I’ll do one of it standing up properly at some point, and as I said in my last post, please don’t send hate just because it’s a Fire/Fighting ;)

What Coatiki is evolving into… Coatorcha!

Based on Coatimondi from South America & Capoeira, Brazillian fight dancing.

YES! I KNOW! I wasn’t planning on doing a Fire/Fighting-type I promise! But Capoeira seemed like such a cool fit, especially as my region is based on South America. With their long, whip-like tails, I simply couldn’t resist!
Just imagine them spinning around, their tails following their movements sending embers through the air like a whirlwind of fire! Then cracking down on the floor with a firey crack!

Mid evolutions are hard! I’ve been really struggling with this one’s design!

Please don’t throw hate my way, I’ll do other cool fire types I promise!

Please welcome the new Fire Starter of Equas Region, Coatiki!

I based this little fella on the South American Coatimundi.

Its evolutions will be coming soon ;)

Here are some brand new Pokemon to the Equas Region.

Cheepingo, a normal type Pokemon has the unique ability to be able to evolve into 3 different forms, each promoting a different spacial ability. They are all also known for their beautiful group dances that were the inspiration to many popular dances in Equas.

Flamambo: Normal/Flying - + Special Speed

Flasalsa: Normal/Flying - + Special Attack

Flarumba: Normal/Flying - + Special Defence

I know a lot of you are going to say “Why aren’t they water/flying?” and the reason is that

A: I don’t feel they give off a water type vibe, despite having webbed feet.

B: There’s not enough love for normal types these days, so I wanted to give them a shot.

I wanted to have a split evolution line that also didn’t focus on typing and more on special abilities and this felt like a good option :)

So, I’m trailing a new system!

I will now be making a feature video to go along with every new picture I create.

In this region, Meowth are in their purest form before being selectivly bred by humans. They can be found all over the region, however only in Cold Mountain areas can they evolve into Persians Celestial/Ice variant.

Ocelusion (Oh-seh-loo-shun) is very shy and is known as the Illusion or Mirage Pokemon and will often create crazy effects that confuse and disorient an attacker. It is also said that if you befriend one, it can show you your greatest desires.

This is an original Pokemon based off and Ocelot (O-seh-lot) and is the first ‘Celestial Type’ Pokemon. Celestial is basically the light to Dark types and are particularly strong against another new type 'Sound’.
I’m not sure whether I want this little one to be a legendary or to keep it as regular Pokemon? What do you think?
